Volledige startopstelling Indy 500: Rinus 'Veekay' van Kalmthout start op derde rij
Scott McLaughlin start zondag de 108e Indy 500 vanaf pole position. De coureur van de Penzoil 'Yellow Submarine' hield in de Fast Six niet alleen voormalig Indy 500-winnaars Will Power, Josef Newgarden en Alexander Rossi achter zich. In de Fast Six moesten ook Kyle Larson en Santino Ferrucci het ontgelden. Rinus Veekay crashte zaterdag nog (FILMPJE CRASH), maar start de befaamde race toch vanaf de zevende positie.
