Formule 1 coureurs bombarderen Barrichello tot kopman

Williams F1-coureur Rubens Barrichello is de nieuwe kopman van de Grand Prix Drivers' Association. Tot voor kort vulde Nick Heidfeld deze rol in, maar sinds hij zich volledig heeft toegelegd op het testen van de nieuwe Pirelli-banden, heeft hij zijn werkzaamheden voor de GPDA neer moeten leggen.

De GPDA-leden kwamen bijeen in Spa-Francorchamps om een nieuwe president te kiezen. Barrichello, dit weekend aan de start van zijn 300e Grand Prix, werd verkozen en zal de rol vanaf nu op zich nemen.
