Surprising twist in Le Mans! Porsche #1 officially out of the race, will Ho-Pin Tung win the 24U?
A surprising turn in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After Toyota's drama last night, fate has now struck Porsche. The Porsche 919 Hybrid with start number 1, driven by Andre Lotterer, has stalled and is officially out. Is history being written at Circuit de la Sarthe, now that an LMP2 car is leading? The #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca of the fast trio Laurent, Jarvis and Ho-Pin Tung is in the lead. Could there be a stunt in the air and will an LMP2 win the 24 Hours of Le Mans? The danger is not yet over, because the #2 Porsche, currently with Brendon Hartley at the wheel, is pushing incredibly hard. Despite being more than two laps behind, they still have a chance to win with this murderous pace. It's all or nothing for Porsche.
