Emancipatie in de autosport: FIA Commissie voor vrouwen in de motorsport komt bijeen

De commissie die binnen de FIA meer vrouwen moet gaan aanmoedigen om in de motorsport te gaan stappen, is in zijn nieuwe samenstelling bijeen gekomen, waaronder nieuwe leden als Brazilië, Denemarken en IJsland. De FIA Women in Motorsport Commissie bestaat sinds 2009.



Veel vrouwen in de autosport dragen hun steentje bij aan het slagen van het project. Onder meer Claire Williams, Tatiana Calderon en Carmen Jorda. Namens Nederland zit Henny Hemmes in de commissie, zij is tweevoudig Nederlands kampioen bij de toerwagens.
