It was a party again in Bastogne this Friday evening!

It is a good habit and good habits are there to be kept intact. In the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, Friday evening is synonymous with a crowd of people fraternizing with the drivers, co-drivers and team members, but also eagerly looking forward to the cars of yesteryear. These cars form the heart of the event organized by the Royal Automobile Club de Spa. The 2026 edition respected that tradition, as evidenced by the enormous popularity of the event in the province of Luxembourg.

A day after the Shakedown with about fifty teams driving kilometers on a course in Houffalize, the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2026 has switched back to tradition, with the autograph session starting at 6:00 PM in the heart of Bastogne, to the great delight of the many fans. Thomas Bastin spoke with the main participants about their ambitions and aspirations a few hours before the start, while Christian Glaude, former mayor of Bertogne, was honored for his twentieth participation in the Legend Boucles!

After the autographs, the ambiance followed, with the parade of cars in the main streets of Bastogne, something the public obviously greatly appreciated. Meanwhile, Liège DJ David Body created a 'Bastogne Summer Festival' atmosphere from the balcony of the town hall! Every year the crowd comes to the festive evening and every year it is a pleasure to see that so many people, whether motorsport fans or not, show up on Friday evening.

After a well-deserved night's rest, the serious business starts Saturday morning just before 9:00 AM. The 'Legend/Challenger' participants will cross the Place McAuliffe podium from 8:53 AM, after which they will head towards Longvilly, just outside the city, for the first RT, which starts at 9:14 AM. After that, they will head towards Livarchamps, for a first return to Bastogne. The 'Classic 65/Classic 50' participants will first tackle the RT of Sainte-Ode. Start at 9:11 AM.

The participants are ready, the fans can't wait any longer, now it's time for the sport, with respect for the instructions of the commissioners and stewards. Always stay ten meters from the track, otherwise the test may be canceled.
